Management Lack Professionalism
Customer Service Team Member (Current Employee) - Erith - 5 July 2023
A few weeks in and the best part of this role is delivering to customers - the majority are very nice and make the job worthwhile. Trainers are great and friendly, will always be there to offer any support or guidance. Management sit behind a desk and remind you that you can be terminated during probation for being off sick (cannot be helped if genuine) or if you cause any damage to vehicles (very possible when you haven’t had a lot of experience driving the vans and only get 2/3 hours training on the road). Management also not professional, never heard of ‘praise in public and correct in private’…happy to discuss personal things in front of other people which can leave you disheartened. Vans are checked by Marshalls at the end of your shift, most are nice but others think they own the place and act above their pay grade. So this job is basically a good stop gap should you find yourself at a loose end.

Arrogant management
Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) - Sunderland, Tyne and Wear - 1 July 2023
The job itself was ok, but the managers and supervisors are so arrogant, unapproachable and seem to go out of their way to be rude! No need at all.

Glorified Pack Horses
Delivery Driver/Customer Service Team Member (Current Employee) - Knowsley, Merseyside - 30 June 2023
No respect from employer to team. You are made to feel like you are not important and easily replaced. Pay is barely above minimum wage. No job feedback or satisfaction, just expect more work and constantly move goalposts. Staff turnover is unbelievably high. The company make all the right noises but never deliver. Local management don’t even waste time communicating with team. Morale is so flat but no one seems to care. Job is straightforward and simple but it’s not worth the hassle for the unsocial hours and rubbish pay
Pros
Staff discount, simple to carry out role
Cons
Unsocial hours, heavy handed disciplinary meetings all the time, no motivation or recognition, poor pay
