Challenging but supportive
A good place to work where you will get the rewards from working hard. It can be stressful but line management are fully supportive and you can feel free to air how you are felling, not feeling awkward about doing so.

Quite Boring
Management is not good. Quite stressful to work at Openreach. I would not recommend anyone to apply for roles there. There was no training and was left in the lurch all the time.

Hard work is well rewarded
The expectation is high, the days are long but the rewards are there for those who can excel. It's well managed, with a keen eye on cost management and people performance. There's a relatively high turnover of people in the Finance department and now definitely a younger mix. The hardest part of the job is the relentless nature of challenges, what you did last month is irrelevant! The most enjoyable part is the variety of work and the scope to progress and get more experience in a range of skills
Pros
Opportunity for advancement
Cons
Long hours
