Good days and bad days

Very stats based, management is always on you to do as much jobs as possible, no chance of progression unless you suck up to management, pay is good, there is a big emphasis on health and safety

Stressful environment not enough training or trained by poor engineers.

Initial training was good at a training center and they match you up with a good engineer In your local area for a couple weeks, which should be longer. Once you go live you are pretty much on your own straight away so either you (sink or swim). Any additional courses like broadband or UG are so poor because bt want to save as much money as possible by not sending you on a proper course but are expecting you to provided world class engineering off btec courses. Money is great once you pass your first year and complete the UG course and always opportunity for OT can earn some good money but you'll have no personal life.

Overall great place to work with good benefits and progression

Good salary, overall good work life balance, each day is different. Only downside is the way the business is changing and the work contracts, not like they used to be and the managers are under stress/not paid enough which comes down to the engineers.
