Multi Drop Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Newport - 3 September 2023
I applied for a job in my area, amazon training was great! then you get passed on to owens! hardly any training they just chuck you in to the deep end and try and break you in Yr first 2 days, no support off management only the fellow drivers which were the best part of the job! unrealistic routes, not told you'd have to travel to Newport before and after work without payment, i then continued to pull my hamstring on the job and when I told them I couldn't work the next day they asked me to return my van and no support was given, they made mine and other new colleagues app crash so we would fail the job, they also told me that I'd be working around my local arewa but put me places I've never been before and complained about how I was bad at the route I was given, they told me I'd only have to work 9 hours a day but realistically i was working 12.
Pros
the colleagues
Cons
the van hire at an extortionate rate & filthy

Great team to work with.
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - DBS2 - 21 May 2023
Job is hard graft but pay can be rewarding. The depot was 40 miles from home so the commuting added on to my day. This along with needing to reduce my hours for personal reasons to three days rather than five was an issue when leasing one of their vehicles so I left. My OSM was an absolute legend and I miss my team and the banter loads.

Accurate Check NOT free
Delivery Associate (Current Employee) - Newport - 26 April 2023
YOU pay £48 for your Accurate check. The routes are an hour away from the depot so my goodness, quite a strain on your pocket fuel wise and a stress up until you get paid.
Pros
Out on the open road
Cons
High volume, far away routes, fuel pain.
