Pleasant workplace, rewarding job

Past 2 years that I've worked in OPC I met many amazing people both, clients and carers. Company's management team has always supported me and helped me with my development throughout great trainings and help with my NVQ course I was undertaking at the time. I've always felt like a part of a family rather that just an employee. Working at Oxford Private Care is rewarding and satisfying. The job itself requires lots of effort but the outcome is definitely worth it.

When I worked there everyone was supportive

When I worked at Oxford Private Care they were very supportive. I gained most of my qualifications whilst working there. Management was all for care workers gaining experience and knowledge. In house training was good and always there to listen to you.

I started with Oxford Private Care in 2014 and have never looked back. The office are very supportive and its a friendly, safe, flexible working environment. All training is up to date and are good at refreshing this even throughout Covid, we were supported as much as humanly possible. The rates of pay are very competitive and it would be silly of me to consider any other company within this field. A lot of my colleagues have done this job for many years with Oxford Private Care that is the best future I could ask for. If you need a positive career change this is the best company for it!!!

Stressful place to work

No appreciation from the management for the carers. What should be a 2 person job is given to 1 carer. Long stressful hours with no breaks. If you want your sanity do not work for them.

I would avoid this place if I was looking for a care job again. No support from the office long hours. Unfriendly most of the time. Constant new staff starting and then leaving. It's even worse in the office.

Independent at work, good managment

- visiting a lot of clients every day - I've learned be patient and peacefull - managment are good - co-workes nice - the hardest part of the job are long-days working from 7am to 10 pm ( lunch break 2-3hrs between) - meeting a lot of lovely people, keep a positive realtion with them
