Absolute worst

I was work there as a driver.Cannot trust them, they did not care about staff. Management is unfair with staff and lie s a lot. Breaking the law in so many points.Not recommend at all.

Poor management

Management was poor. Shift patterns were all over the place. Car park was dreadful, no proper parking for drivers and staff at the store. Never enough orders for drivers, you end up arguing over who gets the next one. Only decent part was some of the people you meet. No insurance for your vehicle, even though it clearly states they offer it. Left quickly.

I first started working at Papa John's a year ago from writing this review, and I enjoyed it at first, the management was decent and I didn't have to pull any extra weight. This was for the first 6 months or so until new management came in and, in no exaggeration, destroyed everything good about the place. The nice work culture, gone. The staff that were there, gone. The predictable hours, gone. The place became so unbelievably mismanaged, and ended up with only 2 people being able to speak English. The previous staff were replaced with inexperienced nepotism hires that all answered to the owner, and the drivers that were brought in were cash-paid and miles slower than the previous drivers who all ended up leaving. I mean, they couldn't even make the orders correctly and on time; the amount of complaints that came in due to the poor staff and management shot right up.I'll end with this. DO NOT even consider joining the following stores in Manchester if you value your time and effort:- Swinton- Urmston- Fallowfield- StockportThere may be more, but these 4 I know are owned by incompetent owners and staffed by incompetent mangers and staff. Do yourself a favour and avoid these stores, both for working and ordering.

People were nice and friendly along with providing training and online resources and opportunities to progress within the company. Most orders are just eat and are easy enough to get sent out for delivery.Overall would recommend as a first part time job great for customer service experience.

The thing is they only call you or give you rota in most busy hours and they instantly tell you to go home if it’s not busy even you have hours left according to rota given

Fun workplace. But bad pay

Working there for almost a year. It is a fun competitive workplace with colleagues though the pay as a 17 year old could be better especially when working the same tasks as adults who get paid more.

The job itself can be fast paced but it's easy to get used to. Once you are trained, it becomes easier to complete tasks more efficiently. However, I had no support from management to resolve any work place issues.

Bad management but the day today people you work with are great

I would avoid working for duke street,shawlands. Broomhill new management is terrible just got my job application rejected after already working for them and already left couple of months later not all papa johns are like this just the ones I have mentioned. Now work for a different papa johns and this one treats me and it’s other workers much better

You are expected to work with no opportunity for a lunch break. The hours are inconvenient and purely for the benefit of the company, you are not respected and are purely seen as a number.

Easy but poor management

Working here wasnt too hard as shifts were typically short and sometimes too short. My biggest problem while working here was the management. The quality of shifts was almost fully dependent on which managers you you had on that day. I used to dread the days i had to work under a certain manager which shouldnt be the case for any workplace. However co workers were always friendly and the work you do in store is fairly easy.

I wouldn’t advise working here unless you want your car to continuously break and when it breaks not be allowed time to fix it when you aren’t earning money. They don’t pay enough for fuel either especially with the fuel prices rising again.
