Nice place to work
I enjoyed working at Paperchase. Management were lovely in my store, customers on the whole very nice. Lovely products to sell. Only thing I wasn’t keen on was the emphasis on signing people up for loyalty cards. Was the be all and end all and if you didn’t manage to get a lot, it reflected poorly on you.

All round lovely
The Kingston Paperchase store was so lovely to work for, the team at the time I was there were incredible, and supportive. Honestly my only faults would be sometimes rules were stuck to slightly too firmly (however I appreciate the work discipline this creates), and that there was no room for progression, but this was just because at the time no one wanted to leave!

Very pushy when signing people up to loyalty cards
Have to reach the targets for number of people signed up a day even if it means forcing them down their throats. Actual work is not too hard but my store was quite small
