What advice would you give the CEO of ParcelForce Worldwide about how to improve it?

  • Sort your management out and make it more friendlier

  • Advertise organisation core values and standards, managers to lead from the front and demand high performance from employees. Time to perform daily vehicle checks properly and to maintain a clean vehicle inside and out. Arrange a visit to say thank you in person at the depot as this is more appreciated personally than bi-weekly morning briefings from managers delivering facts and statistics from ‘above’.
    In essence there needs to be a better structure than just the attitude of delivering and collecting parcels in the quickest possible time. CEO would do well to listen, support and enable a better working environment from the direction of the depot managers.

  • Change the routeing system so that the routes more efficient. Also more can be delivered in less time
