Can't say I enjoyed it.
The job itself is certainly not challenging. It's a standard retail job really but with fancier stores and "luxury" clothing. I personally didn't enjoy it due to being made to feel unwanted. Staff who have worked together for a while will stick to themselves and they seem to think the brand is luxurious and their whole life when in actual fact, the brand is premium, not luxury. Was made to feel like an outcast and I wasn't the only one. Too many people thinking their fashionistas and it was quite embarrassing. Message to them: You're a sales assistant. That's what you were hired as and for. Nothing else. Take your head out of you know where.Absolutely no chance at progression, I worked with people who had been with them for over 5 years and the highest they got was to a supervisor level which is poor. Wouldn't recommend Paul Smith as a company to work for at all. Paul Smith himself however is a nice guy, I must say.
