Minimum wage!
I worked for Paydens for a few months after leaving my previous pharmacy who paid a lot more. Left Paydens quickly for a job which paid a lot more.The pay is minimum wage and you are expected to do the cleaning ect as well as working in the store and the pharmacy.No form of career progression- completely dead end job They do not pay sick pay either Assistant in Twydall

Don't do it
I previously worked for paydens. The pharmacy I worked at was clicky, not everyone was treated the same and management was too scared to approach staff not pulling there weight as they had been there a long time. Some staff set in ways and been with pharmacy for a long time and therefore really didn't want to be at work as close to retirement. The job is fast paced allot of heavy lifting. Great place to train and progress.
I started as a counter assistant and was encouraged to progress. Paydens funding my training all the way through to being an accuracy checking technician. Can he stressful and very fast paced but have a network of shops and HO to turn to. Nice friendly team that made it fun to work even when super busy. Dispensing Assistant in Ashford, Kent

Backstabbing and stressful
I currently work for paydens, by far the most stressful and awful place iv worked! Management do not really care and join in on bitchiness, very hard work for minimum pay, Get verbally abused by customers, awful staff levels for the amount of work that needs to be done, I would not recommend as a career unless your a pharmacist! Be prepared to work hard
Had a good few years working at paydens, some amazing staff but also some not. Learned loads but unfortunately overworked and definitely underpaid, definitely don’t feel appreciated by people at the top.What would you say about your employer?
