What is the work environment and culture like at Persimmon Homes?
The fibre side of the company is terrible, worst manager I have ever worked for, am still waiting on a call back from him it's only been 4 months. Never get paid the overtime when it's due, had to wait 6 months before i got my money and it was short and now waiting on another 4 months overtime. Felt like I was forced to resign as the manager was constantly victimasing and bullying me even after I spoke to him about this. He told me i had to get permission before I called HR for anything. He doesn't like feed back when asks what is wrong and you tell him, nothing changes. The bonus is a joke our team had better ratings for completions and faults getting fixed but still got a lower bonus the reason was because we spoke to the pay side of the company because we were getting false promises from our manager about our overtime getting paid to us. our team went away during the height of the pandemic which I was forced to go as I made it clear I didn't want to but I had to. All in all the manager is terrible he has no clue how to manage men, or speak to them properly he bullys engineers and makes your life a misery, doesn't care about helping you when you need it and certainly does not pay you when you work the overtime but wants you to work overtime.Asked 11 November 2018
