It's hard for me to leave the review because I left feeling quite angry but they ultimately did exactly what eas expected of them. They got me work and paid the ageed rate. I had a disagreement with one of their clients over a health and safety issue and they were not very supportive. I left shortly after this. I would probably use them again but hopefully with a better client and more understanding staff.

Great management, easy to upload timesheets online and receive pay slips. Great rates of pay. Never had a problem here in 3 years. When I had a problem, they backed me instantly

Lack of shifts but still taking new drivers ! What’s the result … no shifts at all ! One year ago they was giving like 4/5 days now 1/2 if you lucky!

Best agency i have ever worked for.Highly recommended!!! Pays fairly and doing their best at all times to keep you busy. At the same time they are there to help if needed. always answer the phone and give as much support as possible. Well organised and very kind people.

Go there if you like worst night shifts left for average money

Agency company.. If you looking pernament job at least 5 days a week avoid it! You might get it but shifts will be the worst, nights jobs probably. Not worthy for rate they pay. When they advert rates look tempty then after couple weeks you are disappointed with your payslips according job you did.

If you work for this agency, don’t waste you time, they cancel you shift before to go at the job! If you want to talk with someone, they are on holiday! About work, they give you 1-2 days Friday and Saturday! So don’t waste you time ! I just quit because they tell you something and they act different!

Easy trunk runs most the time. Good communication, pay was good. Overall a good experience from my point of view. Work dried up in the end so had to look elsewhere.

Pertemps are fine, it's Royal Mail that is the problem

Some of there runs are so unrealistic, you will run out of time, that is the drivers fault, not there's. You are not allowed to stop to go to the toilet. If you value your Driving Licence, DO NOT GO THERE.

Good pay, but chaotic payroll

I'm full time employed as a hgv driver, but get 3 to 4 shifts a week on average. This suits me, as I'm semi retired and don't have a mortgage to pay anymore. However this wouldn't suit anyone who needs a full time paid job.The one thing that lets them down though is the hit and miss payroll office. Booked holidays are hardly ever paid on time, and need to be chased up, as do occasional missed hours. This is always rectified within a week or two, but it's hardly rocket science to pay holidays at the correct time, surely?

A typical day at work

Terrible relationship between warehouse staff and drivers. Dirty trucks, smoked in. Also very old units at PRDC. You will be loading/unloading on you own, do never expect help.

Funny games all the time.

Royal Mail Normanton Good place to earn money but after short time they prioritize new drivers over old ones and you don’t get fair bookings. New drivers gets 5shifts a week Old drivers gets 2-4 shifts a week,Weird start times with no time for life. Which is why people leaving this place.

Standard agency that take take and take and don’t really care what you need or want if you know how agencies work then there typical if not then beware these are worse than some and have little to no credibility wherever they ask you to work. They have a couple of ok contracts but nothing in the way of reliable work. You have been warned

What shifts i get given one week, I lose the next, With no consistency achievable and unsociable shift times, becomes very difficult to sustain a happy home life, even after an indepth discussion regarding my home life.

Did everything required by Pertemps work wise, they messed up the wages for everyone and it took months to sort out. I was promised work with a new contract but they kept me hanging on maybe due to my AGE, not nice at all, I had worked for Pertemps previously and it was ok but they have went massively down hill
