In my time I worked on shore at Lagon Tormore plant in Shetland and I advanced In a wealth of knowledge also the shift pattern suited my life style .A very desirable company to work for I would go back any time if the opportunity arose.
All accommodation, meals, washing all there
No cons, you know the shift pattern from the outset
My role was in Finance where we had a great team with a will to get things done. Roles were changed on a fairly regular basis to give variety and avoid complacency, so you need to be flexible and ready to adapt to change. We were very busy at times, but all pulled together when required.
On site parking, canteen, good team
Started off ok, but there was no advancement even when pushed. It's a company big on promoting people you know, with people with little to no experience being made managers simply due to being related or friends with the directors, definitely not an ethical company.
None that I can think off
Everything above, got myself out of there, doing a more relaxed role with a £20k payrise, shows how little they value employees
Typical day cosists of, any deck work and loading and unloading supply vessel. Duties as helicopter landing officer. Management didn’t interfere with the day to day running as long as there were no issues. Always learned something new, like a safer way to work. The most enjoyable part of the job was being with people who became friends.

Not a company I would work for again ,bad atmosphere between management and workforce, management tended to blame workforce for there own shortcomings, speaking as a pipe fitter of 40 years experience in the industry
As an international student, you want to find the top undergraduate program or the best graduate program that fits your needs. As you search for U.S. schools, you should know there are many important differences between "undergraduate" and "graduate" programs.
Management is non existing, real ability is ignored because you have to be in the 'lodge' to progress. The structure is based on old fashioned practises and good workers are ignored in favour of 'the funny hand shake group'.
Culture - very bad
