Hectic and not enjoyable

I worked 12 hour shifts 6 days a week the days were long and draining. The owner would take portions of your pay or fail to pay your wage. Sometimes there would only be 3 people working the entire restaurant ( cooking, cleaning, serving and taking orders ect). The owners barely showed up to the restaurant only to look good for inspectors. Absolute dead job brev

Pros

Get to eat free

Cons

Long hours, hectic environment, untrustworthy

Dirty environment to work. Very clicky. 12 hours shifts. sharing footwear with the same people who just came off shifts on my first day.

It was the worst place I have ever worked in , in my life. Groups of not nice women who have been there for years and therefore they think they run the place. very unhelpfull to new people. I would not advise anyone to go there.

Pros

non.

Cons

lonh hours and inadequate break time. pay basic.

Stressful and terrible environment to be in

Honestly I recommend that no one goes to this place for a job, I was overworked and kept suffering mental breakdowns because of stress and the way they make you feel whilst working, they also mess you about with your pay too and they barely let you have breaks, only aloud a three minute break.

Pros

Free food

Cons

Long hours, anxiety, overworked and stressful

Daunting and depressing

Do not I repeat do not work pizza factory in nottingham. Employees and managers are discriminative “full training given” lies! They treat you as if you’ve been working there for years so you pick up the tasks fast. You get shouted at for doing the littlest mistakes someone elses mistake, you get blamed for it..Nobody is british at pizza factory. They 100% all speak in their language making you feel uncomfortable.. Do not waste your time here.. They talk to you as if you are dumb...

Pros

The smell of the pizzas

Cons

Everythinggggg!!!

Fast paced and stressful at times.

A typical day at work would be quite fast-paced and rarely gives you time to take a breather. I learned how to operate a till, answer phone calls and make pizza. The management was great overall. The hardest part of the job was getting the order correct and on time. The most enjoyable part of the job was the teamwork and learning new skills.

Under "northern foods"was good, now is bad

Hey,I been working there over 12 years(from 2005 to 2017)in February 2017 factory made decision about redundancy and I been dismiss from work like many of my colleagues.Reason for this such drastic step was("old contracts" which many of people has signed with "northern foods" a few years back not with new owner "2 Sisters")They can tell people(actually did) about reason for redundancy was losing contract with "Tesco"but we workers know better(my colleges been working in this place even longer then me and their been really good workers with all that experience but they also have "old contracts"what give them one way ticket in Feb.2017)Now everyone have new contract(bad in anyway)working in 3-4days system with 12hours a day shifts with flat rate.I really happy they dismiss me(paying me not so bad money)because I wouldn't never sign new bad contract.

Always a good time

Pizza Factory was a upbeat restaurant in a upbeat area in London, Bayswater. The customers here really made the difference, always making work a fun place to be. Management handled my situation tremendously well and were lenient with hours of work. Overall great experience.

Productive workplace

The pizza factory is good working environment, it was a good first job for me and it taught me a lot. Go in the locker room and take our outdoor shoes off. Walk in to the next set of lockers for shoes and put some work shoes on. Then wash my hands and get a overall putting it on. walk down to the factory floor and put PPI on. I would be sent to a line and wait for the ingredients put next to me. When the line would start some would put a pizza base at the top of the line, then some one would put the sauce on the base, then a cheese machine would put cheese on the bases. After that a group of people would put one ingredient on the base and then the next person would put a different one on depending on the type of pizza. After each order we all would clean the line down so there no cross contamination with the pizzas.

Pros

Good money

Cons

Early shifts

Not a best place to work!

This place doesn't have any security at all, they got a staff who suppouse to do that, but that people don't care about that at all. Had a lot of situations, then personal items were disappearing.

avarage

For the Factory very important the Hygiene, I have to use an overall and the porper shoes on the work place. In the Factory in side the temperature it"s very cold because we have to keep fresh the vegatables and fruits and meat as well. We made always some new kind of pizza with different toppings.

Pros

It's was close to me

Cons

It's a very cold place

Pizza Factory

It was busy at all times considering it was a takeaway shop. I learned how to think in difficult situations and how to overcome them with a quick thinking process. My co workers were reliable and helpful. The hardest part was when orders were coming in while doing other orders and having to remember the other orders from before.

Pros

Free Lunches being able to go home on my break because I lived near.

Cons

Having to work in the night when I am tired.

Good place to work and always have good people to work with.

After that a group of people would put one ingredient on the base and then the next person would put a different one on depending on the type of pizza. After each order we all would clean the line down so there no cross contamination with the pizzas. I learned more about health and safety with food, how to handle food with care and try not to waste it, how to keep on time with getting to work and tasks. I learned how important it is to work in a team and how to help them out. The management was always understanding and caring when you need to get to important things or if you are ill. They always make sure I was doing a good job and that the lines where moving correctly. The people I worked with were always friendly and caring. I got on with everyone at the Pizza Factory. I helped them when I could or they would help me when I needed it. The hardest part about the job was when the lines would keep stopping and slowing things down so we would have to work harder to make sure we was done on time. The most enjoyable thing was when I made new friends and I could work beside them. Also when we got -

Pros

Good working staff.

Cons

Not always given hours I needed.
