Delivery Driver in Benfleet
Fun, fast-paced, enjoyable job
They were very accommodating and brilliant during my pregnancy in the middle of a pandemic, allowing me to be furloughed and then into early maternity leave and pay. Working there was an enjoyable experience, some late nights but that’s to be expected in this kind of job. Sometimes you get awkward shifts but again that’s to be expected in a shift job. All in all it was a good place to work with lovely colleagues and managers.

Productive and fun workplace
I have lost my valuable time to spend at this company which was an unprogressive role. I was choosen my role on production and preparation line. Over six years I worked with initial job role and getting same salaries which was national minimum wage rates.

It’s a good job to do, they’re flexible with when you work. Salary is minimum wage but you do a lot for that. There was one time when it came to pay day and I hadn’t been paid so I waited a few days and spoke to other people asking if they’ve been paid and they had so I spoke to the lead manager and she immediately spoke to the owner and I was paid which was good management. Depending on the shift/day/time depended on what you do and how much you do. Prep is quite easy to do. If it’s a quite shift it can get really boring and you won’t have anything to do. I suggest making friends with everyone who works there as I didn’t as I was 15/16 when I worked there and very socially awkward. It helps to have people to talk to. Good job to have.
Not fun workplace
Drivers don’t do their job and don’t help unless you tell them so , managers get very lazy and make people do all their work so they rest and store managers don’t look after workplace or even care at points

Ended up depressed
Working here was so bad I cried on the job every shift and ended up massively depressed. I never got any serving training yet was expected to do it anyway. Whenever I asked for help I was answered with colleagues who were blatantly annoyed at having to help me. Yet nobody trained me.
