Place Farm House is a 19 bed care home set in the residential area of Patcham. The home has been running for 28 years and we pride ourselves on delivering excellent care for each of our residents. The home is in quiet surroundings and has good views of the Sussex Downs and is in walking distance of good bus route's and the London Road (A27). We have a close knit team who know the home and this contributes to Place Farm being an enjoyable and fun place to work and provide care.

Place Farm House is managed day-to-day by Karen Reid who takes a highly active role in the day-to-day running of Place Farm House and is personally on hand to provide support to the residents and the care staff. Karen joined Place Farm House in 2017 as Deputy Manager and became the Registered Manager in September 2019. Karen has developed Place Farm’s service to ensure it provides intimate care to our residents and that we have the best staff who are supported and enjoy their work.

Fantastic !

I have worked at Place Farm House for a few months having came from a nursing home, I can honestly say I love my job again! All the staff are amazing from management, seniors, carers to the chef and housekeepers, I felt like part of the team as soon as I started my 1st shift and it hasn’t changed. Not good

Management Very disrespectful to staff the way they treat staff is poor it’s all good at first l know a few people that left because the way management spoke to them very unprofessional and rude

Don’t choose to work here

Management is very unprofessional and do not have a clue how to run a home.They don’t treat staff fairly, pay is very poor with no appreciation for hard work. The Kitchen is beyond filthy.
