HGV Class 1 Driver tramper (Current Employee) - Newcastle upon Tyne - 3 October 2022
The job itself is fine. Trucks ain’t bad. trailers are past there best. Traffic office staff tell you want you want to hear be it the truth or just a load of bull so the job gets done. Money isn’t bad but could be better, that applies to every job thou. All in all I’ve working in worse places and better places but every job is what you make of it, just don’t let them run you down and it all works out eventually.
Pros
Left alone once you get jobs
Cons
Wages. Hours and office staff attitude towards drivers
