Productive workplace
Fast paced work place keeps you busy. Also attention to detail is very important as order picking has to be done on a deadline to meet the clients needs so good level of concentration is advantageous.

Very hard to work if your a family person on a 12hour shift system
Can be a great place work but you have to be commited to shift work long hours and weekends. All the training is provided but a good knowledge on port operations is a must as can also be a very dangerous environment
Assembler/Fitter in Jarrow Slake

Unstable
Little or no work satisfaction, due to anonymous and autocratic management style. More interested in the work output than in the welfare of their staff. Your position is stood down in the blink of an eye, as and when the work load requires. Hazards of a zero hour contract and PoT/Temp Team exploit this to the maximum. A shift system is operated, then changed in an instant at very short notice. More about not what you know but who you know.
