Currently work for Pure dental clinic. Management are fantastic, very supportive. Dentists and nurses are so very welcoming. Generally a lovely working environment.

Great place to work, pay is better than most places but could be better, lots of perks and bonus every year. Good team to work with. Hours can be long as a full time member of staff but never had to ask for extra apart from covering on call once every other month which isn't bad.

Senior management is horrible, they play favourites and actively make their staff feel uncomfortable and unappreciated Hours are very long with minimal reward and pay is suboptimal

Really happy with Portman!

Can be busy but rewarding once you have achieved what you needed to. There is always someone to call, email or message for any query you may have. I feel very at home in Portman already, management have played a massive part in that and I am grateful for this. There are many different aspects to being a PM in Portman, it is not just people management but also the business side of things which works amazingly for someone looking to progress further or expand their skill set. Overall a great company!

The staff here is so helpful and friendly, making the whole recruitment process and working here amazing. The staff put me at ease from day one and were so welcoming. Instantly I was able to take part in a variety of tasks which is exactly what I wanted!

Hard working great team with an equally great atmosphere

My journey from the beginning, liaising with the recruitment officer, up until now has been so far so good.I started at the end of February. The team is great. Everyone is very supportive, pulls together and works really hard, yet at the same time there is no tense atmosphere.I feel relaxed each day coming to work. There's also always a great selection of snacks available too. Bonus!This is the best career move I have made. My only current complaint is that I should have made the move over to Portman years ago.

Bad management and toxic environment with some VERY unprofessional and unpleasant staff. No job satisfaction whatsoever. Most enjoyable part of the job is speaking to pleasant customers who appreciate your efforts. Harassment and Bullying seem to be acceptable.

It pays the bills

I think Portman are growing faster than head office can cope with, especially with the finance depts. Pay is low in comparison to similar jobs elsewhere and the sickness package they boast about is poor and not fit for purpose. They are good to staff in other ways though such as social budgets and days at the races, this helps massively with morale.

After I applied to work for Portman Dental, I got a response via email which was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. I got invited to a telephone interview, then a face to face interview and finally a teams interview with the manager. I had a lot of communication regarding my application throughout, and luckily got the job! I have been working here for 3 weeks now and I am loving it, the staff and management are exceptional and I feel very comfortable in my new role, and excited!!

Bad management, don't appreciate employees,

I worked for Portman for 2,5 years. They like to promise a lot but doesn't never happen. Poor management, decision takes ages, no pay rise but merging with different companies and buying out others. Poor hourly wage.
