D Day 75 Volunteer in Outside Portsmouth Civic Offices, and Southsea Common
on 6 November 2020
Good, very professional and apparently supportive employer
Was an excellent, very memorable event for D Day 75, June 2019.Very good Volunteer team to work with, enjoyable experience, interacting with various adults and children at 2 places. At a previous job assessment/recruitment day, it was well organised and run, despite having to improvise due to a sudden IT system disconnection all around the Civic Offices and Central Library.
Accounting Technician in Portsmouth City Centre, Hampshire
on 27 February 2021
Varied and challenging
Budget setting, budget monitoring, financial appraisals, variance analysis, revenue and capital. A challenging and varied role where both working alone and liaising with managers from other departments and building relationships is equally important. The job is deadline orientated so can be stressful at times but the environment is supportive and collaborative.
Civil Enforcement Officer /Part Time in Portsmouth, Hampshire
on 11 October 2020
Pressured by Managers to increase income
Was good to work for until management changes now its all about revenue its no longer a public service just a way to persecute the driving public. Line managers expect staff to improve while they sit around delegating their work to others. There's also a job for the boys culture.

OK. Standard IT work for a council. short term decision making, little budget adds to the pressure of work. 50/50% perm to contract via their own agency.
