What is the organisational culture at PRET?

  • Pret looks organised on the outside and it is structured, but this structure comes at a high emotional and psychological price. You are pushed so hard that you are forced to cut corners that in turn can be dangeros for health and safety. The structure is like a military, no fun, no relaxation, just stress stress and more stress.

  • Like an idiot robot

  • Never told to be quiet , fun enjoyable place to work , turns out this isfor advertisement purposes your generally told to close your mouth and be quiet by leaders and management and they wonder why all there TM’s and TMT’s look to leave.

  • On paper the structure is excellent, that's what had me excited when I started in Pret. But reality is, that managers are very disorganized, incapable and frustrated. Pret is a micromanaging company that throws out unbelievably amounts of rules and standards that are impossible to follow. Pret does that so that teams reach the highest and also that Pret can blame staff to cover HQ and the company.
So, Pret for example expects 150% which is unreachable, so that teams reach 80% for which Pret happy with but pretends that it is ot enough. All very psychological and a bullying culture with many managers incapable and with no leadership and people skills.

  • To give opportunity for everyone
