74 questions about working at Pret A Manger
Pret looks organised on the outside and it is structured, but this structure comes at a high emotional and psychological price. You are pushed so hard that you are forced to cut corners that in turn can be dangeros for health and safety. The structure is like a military, no fun, no relaxation, just stress stress and more stress.

Answered 4 April 2021The future of Pret is like any successful company. Their image is more and more shown not to be such a kind business pret always shows to the front. Do to Covid, they expand in supermarkets and the CEO is detached from shops even though he visits, but he is detached.
Answered 4 April 2021How do I feel about going to work at Pret A Manger each day? I felt depressed, really depressed every day. You get up at 4:00am in the morning, often 3:45am start at 5:00am and work until 2 or 3:00pm non-stop stress. Manager doesn't greet you, speaks down on you, nothing your do is ever good enough. It was the most depressing place ever.
