Too many team leaders being rewarded, while staff members who carry out tasks are not. Cleaning tasks not carried out well enough, not enough attention paid to detail

Pret is a con! You either suck up to your boss or have to leave as soon as you started. No room for ideas and suggestions. The image Pret shwos to the public is fake! The mantra of product rotation 'FIFO' first in first out is readily used to show the door if you don't fit in. Hirings are based on friendships and you are as quickly fired when you question their ethics.
Pros
Nothing!

Horrible and disgusting General manager, used his power to intimidate and scare team members, if you had an issue or problem in the job you didn't enjoy he would just tell you to leave and quit. He had favourites and spoke about employees he didn't like and was very vocal expressing that he wanted to get rid of certain team members and get a new team. Shortly after he joined the team alot of people left. Worst GM ever! Disappointed with how HR dealt with the many grievances the team made against the manager, am honestly shocked he is still GM in that Pret.
Cons
Management, lack of HR support, no integrity, politics

Sexist, abusive and incompetent management! No support from management! Stressful environment! Refuse to pay people for the hours worked means they actually pay well below minimum wage! Run by complete control freaks!
