Manager in Plymouth, Devon
on 12 September 2023
Amazing product and people
Love the people and product. Shame about the poor leadership...absolutely no strategy and don't expect any training of worth. The end product is world beating but very painful getting there. The new owners are doing the right thing but middle management's interpretation of direction is abused by egotistical and slightly stupid senior management. Regardless this company can be really fun to work fo...
Mechanical/Electrical Engineer in Plymouth
on 11 July 2023
The worst job I ever had!
So I went for an interview which I waited for 3 hours before even being seen, I then got the job as they were after an engineer. This was not the case, they are after a lackay or a cleaner, or a road sweeper but definitely not an engineer, I brought my own tools to the job which I was laughed at bring ling a Vernier and micrometer as supposedly not needed when building a £16million pound yacht. I ...

Not fun
The only thing that keeps people here is the overtime and the lads who work here. Management have no idea what they’re doing and now the new owners are in they’re pushing for unrealistic targets. Iboss dosent work and it just is a bad mental health place to work. Rapidly going downhill.
Fit out engineer in Plymouth

If your face fits
Allow the bullies and slackers to run the boat line and decide who stays and who goes. Inconsiderate selfish unhelpful workers. Music is on repeat at full volume and you have to shout to the person next to you, in the next compartment. Lack of training. Lack of equipment, supplies. Company are bad supplier bill payers. Managers look after their own finances figures. Unfair differences between cont...
