Not fun

Carpenter (Current Employee) - Newport street - 26 June 2023

The only thing that keeps people here is the overtime and the lads who work here. Management have no idea what they’re doing and now the new owners are in they’re pushing for unrealistic targets. Iboss dosent work and it just is a bad mental health place to work. Rapidly going downhill.

Princess Yachts when i joined in 1999 was a fantastic place to work with good wages and a fantastic bonus scheme.Unfortunately over the years this has all been eroded away. Skilled men leaving in their droves and unskilled poor performing operatives replacing them.The skill base is now at its lowest since the company started in 1965.The poor wages now do not reflect the product they want us to produce

Amazing product and people

Love the people and product. Shame about the poor leadership...absolutely no strategy and don't expect any training of worth. The end product is world beating but very painful getting there. The new owners are doing the right thing but middle management's interpretation of direction is abused by egotistical and slightly stupid senior management. Regardless this company can be really fun to work for and personally I have never had a boring day. Definitely worth spending some time here.
