Supportive team on-site however did not feel valued overall by the organisation. Staff onsite are supportive of career progression opportunities should these be available however, the priory’s retention strategies beyond this are limited.

Most toxic environment I have ever worked in
Never in my career have felt more insecure and devalued in a professional setting . Traumatized to the point that I am genuinely considering leaving the healthcare field altogether ( have always loved by job before in other settings).Even if you think you have evidence in black and white, that you were not at fault please do not be fooled. Emails are auto-deleted after a certain time. Please do not even try. You will be risking a lot more than your job.The good part was that majority of the employees are genuinely competent and interested in excelling and providing best patient care, but the barriers do not allow them to work at their optimum , if someone tries to voice out valid concerns it is made sure that everyone can see what power dynamics are capable of, to induce a sense of fear. Please save your self the pain no amount of money is worth it.

Poor management and blame culture
Poor management and blame culture lead to a very negative workforce. It’s a shame because the the hospital was in a lovely area to work in and work colleagues were nice. But the management of the hospital were all negative and manipulative and there was a definite blame culture going on which leads to a high turnover off staff and very low staff morale.

Depression work environment
Working for the priory group at first was great but then I soon came to realizing how toxic the work environment is. Your colleagues seem nice to you in person but quickly talk behind your back as soon as you leave the room. Management and seniors are bullies, who don't really care about you and find you indisposable.Your job includes cooking, cleaning, personal care, driving, walks, paperwork and sometimes activities.A lot of the time you don't have the right equipment to do your job properly, example: no food to make meals with.

Profit before Patients
Witnessed money being the only priority of the service. Reliant on agency, not taking feedback onboard, communication is terrible. Sink or swim ideology luckily, I could swim but staff were the main things trying to impede me.I would say that it is a knock on affect from burnout, low morale and disregard of staff.
