Good place to work if you have a decent manager on your ward worked well has a team once he left new manager never on the ward to support more agency staff then regularly staff . Management just care about profit don't care about service users

Great ward manager horrible under staff

Mental Health Care Assistant (Former Employee) - Ayr clinic - 6 December 2023

Recently done a placement at the Ayr Clinic and enjoyed the job and working with the patients and staff a very interesting job and learning all about mental health illness.Only downside was a female senior Healthcare assistant, absolute horrible individual to work with and would rather see you fail and back stab you than actually do her job and train, ( Bellisle) ward which is sad because most of the staff are decent and want to make a difference. Plenty of courses offered and training available if you want to go in as a healthcare assistant and very decent ROP

The most awful workplace.

This place can only be described as a nightmare. Management are bullies and HR is an absolute joke. Some nurses and a particular social worker would encourage vulnerable children to write letters about staff they don’t like.

Priory is a profit before care company, the management do not value or appreciate staff on wards and show little to no support. Speaking up about problems in care and poor practice will lead to reprimands and the ward staff gossip and discuss patients and fellow peers among each other with no respect. There is a reason CQC keep rating this place as inadequate and a reason staff keep leaving, including the nurses. Stay well clear.
