Operations Scheduling in Newmarket

Minimum Pay and maximum work load
There is a massive discrepancy between management and their staff, differential and often preferential treatment with school like atmosphere where you’re treated like children.

Good overall management
The staff are very friendly and the company benefits are good. The work environment is nice and spacious. I felt very supported through covid and they created a safe environment.

Productive friendly environment to work
I have worked at Providor for nearly 5 months my experience has been good given the current pandemic. Staff and management are friendly and supportive There is free car parking and free fruit and refreshments. No day is the same and you are learning everyday. you get 1 hour unpaid lunch break and 2 tea breaks for 10 mins which are paid. The lunch area is clean and spacious and some cooking facilities (microwave) are available along with chilled and hot water. There is overtime available at a higher rate of pay but this is optional. There are hand sanitiser stations around the building and you also get given your own little bottles. the desks are spaced out and cleaned down every day so you can feel safe in your working environment.

Not as expected
Pay minimum wage but expect too much from you.No communication, organisation or processes to actually help you do the job properly but your expected to know what your doing. Training is given by watching a member of staff for a week or so and left to it so no official training. The team leaders are trying there best with seemingly little support. Other ops support staff are friendly, some clique but that's expected in this type of environment. Really great to meet a mixture of personalities and making friendships. Moral is extremely low and are looking for something else - very high turn over of staff. No flexibility what so ever. Free fruit and refreshments in a open modern office. Parking outside if you arrive early enough.Over time offered.Over all if your looking for something for now or are young maybe 1st job then this would be good if you can put up with the chaos. If you want to earn a good wage and have opportunities to progress then avoid.
