Support Worker in Inverclyde Ashgrove/Glenvally

Stressful job & underpaid
Service users are the best part of the job.Very stressful job with lots to do from supporting service users to writing lots, computer skills, med administration, washing, cleaning, cooking, food hygiene. Staff can be unacceptable, management & team leaders are bad & can't be trusted, never want to work weekends all supporting stuff are expected to cover. Too much expected & not paid enough for duties.

Great team
Great teams in the services I work in, manager is ok but lots of pressure to do extra shifts. Like most care providers post COVID, staff levels are atrocious but starting to get better

Great.
Quarriers is, by far the best place I've worked since leaving the army. The kids were great to work with and overall very rewarding. The only reason I left was because I the nature of the job was evenings and weekends, if it was full time I would have definitely stayed.

Avoid at all costs!!
Management are untrustworthy and don't show any respect for staff.Low pay for the level of responsibility your expected to do.Management work monday-friday and never do weekends or late shifts to help support staff, often leaving services dangerously understaffed at weekends with no support. No work life balance, management say "it's the needs of the business"This is the worse company I have ever worked for. No staff morale and staff are mentally and physically exhausted with no help from management. Poor management = unhappy staff = unhappy residents.
