Work-life balance

Administrative Assistant, in Southampton
on 4 March 2021
Low pay
Can choose to have half hour lunch but fixed term contracts (all made redundant now) and salary is really low for amount of work in admin compared to other companies

A business that cares about it's employees and customers.
I worked at Quilter for a number of years, some bad, mostly good. They have progressed very well as a company to work for and genuinely seem to care about their employees wellbeing. Opportunities are reasonable for career progression.

Great company to work for.
Management always there for you. Support and help when needed. Good experience, especially for young people. Your work is appreciated and there is a chance for a career if you like to develop your skills.
Protection Development Consultant in Home Based, Old Mutual Wealth protection
on 3 August 2020
Good company with long term goals
Unfortunately the part of the company I worked for, Old Mutual Wealth Protection no longer exists as it was sold off to ReAssure who didn't require our services. Quilter will remain an investment and platform based company and I'm sure they'll continue to offer good prospects for the future.
Temporary Team Secretary in Holborn, Greater London
on 2 July 2020
Boring and they need to trust staff
I worked there on a temp basis for 2 weeks before I had a job offer for a job I really loved and took. Old-fashioned culture, internet access restricted, head of team a monster apparently (I never met him). They wanted to keep me and promote me, but I felt like I was in an antiquated typing pool. Staff friendly.
