Our colleagues working Roadside and within our Contact Centres work from a 'Demand Led Roster' so the hours can be quite varied as there is no set shift pattern. However, their roster does cover a year, so they are aware of the shifts they will be working.

Standard working hours for Head Office roles are 9am-5pm. If others hours such as 8am-4pm / 10am-6pm would be suitable this would be discussed and agreed locally with line managers.There is also potential working from home opportunities if the role allows (again discussed/agreed locally).

18 years old due to shift work

Hi, Thanks for your question. Performance reviews are completed on an annual basis. Also Monthly 121's are completed with your Line Manager. Pay is also reviewed annually for RAC staff inline with your performance review. Many Thanks, RAC

Go in with eyes wide open.
Talk to existing patrols first to get a real idea of the job.

Not lie to staff aboit work potential, give better training and dont throw those not ready onto calls within 1 day only to fire them for doing a bad job. Or let people go because of lack of work then ask them to come back but ask they undertake the probation period they already passed again. Work on the computer system its shocking, crashed allot, map needs updating (i ended up usong google maps more than anything) and implement what 3 words location tool, it save a tone of time on calls trying to find people.

Big established brand with a good service. I hope they sort out their many problems.

All over the place no consistent shift pattern. Mostly 12 hour shifts out till midnight
