Nice staff but can get boring
Account Manager (Current Employee) - Ipswich, Suffolk - 11 May 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedOk job but pay is rubbish and no progression available. Tend to do the same thing day in day out which can get boring quite quickly. Also no parking available

Great training, bad management and culture.
Outbound Call Agent (Former Employee) - Crewe, Cheshire - 12 November 2023
I left the company a while back, but hated every minute of the place. The company wasn’t bad to work for at first when they were based at the previous offices, but the moment they moved into two new purpose built buildings, targets were raised and they became more ruthless. Targets are ridiculous especially when everyone calls the same companies. The company overcharge customers for fuel; they text customers of their discounted fuel price but in fact charge them more. When I mentioned this to my line managers, their response was “Did you enjoy the lavish Christmas party?”. Avoid the company like the plague for both working and as a potential customer.
Pros
Work life balance.
Cons
Bad management and wage.

Jobs at Radius Payment Solutions
Poor
Credit Analyst (Former Employee) - Crewe - 19 October 2023
High attrition rate, no formal training (recently they did start), work life balance isn't really a thing- I have been expected to work on days I had booked off. Career progression can often be slow they normally hire externally rather than train someone up internally. Poor pay. Management if not constantly changing are normally full of individuals who are incapable of doing their job probably because they weren't trained. Disciplinary and grievances are not taken seriously.
Pros
Free breakfast and sanitary products to end period poverty
Cons
Long hours, poor management and poor pay

Do not work here
N/A (Former Employee) - Crewe, Cheshire - 19 September 2023
Rubbish work environment, no flexibility, no work life balance, rubbish and toxic environment! They overload you with work and refuse to employ new staff because it saves them money, leaving everything to pile on top of the existing staff members!

It was an experience one that would do not relish repeating
Credit Director (Former Employee) - Crewe - 17 July 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Lacking people and systems investment. Leadership exhibit traits of misogyny. The owner greeted all the women at the International Women's Days ..."as welcome all you dogs." Spks volumes . What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Leadership, been working longer than 10yrs and lack vision and corporate strategy. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Good but no working from home or dressed down days...again stuck in the 80's What is a typical day like for you at the company? Team leadership and meetings

Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Horsforth, West Yorkshire - 17 July 2023
Seems like a good job, decent pay, decent people at first but after working there you realise the whole team nearly are really young and immature. Lots of drama in the office and most managers don’t care about you.

Great place to work for
Outbound sales adviser and account manager (Current Employee) - Belfast - 15 June 2023
Great place to work for, a lot of support from management. Great work life balance also, good commission if you put the work in. Very supportive also if a personal issue was to ever arise.
Pros
Management
Cons

Over promised under delivered, poor people management and poor management
Digital Performance Manager (CRO) (Former Employee) - Crewe - 1 June 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Job perks were not bad. Subsided food and staff events. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Unrealistic pressure for KPIs delivery. Overly high demand with no justification What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Clicky culture. For a company that claims to champion diversity there are so many underhanded people in management who don’t care about the needs of the team below them

Great place to work - shame it was only temporary
Interim Management Accountant (Former Employee) - Crewe - 4 May 2023
I worked here as a temp contractor a few years (pre-pandemic) ago and overall enjoyed my time there - people are great and they had big plans at at the time for growth, so I'm sure anyone joining now will have great opportunity to grow. If I could have stayed I would have but no permanent roles were available back then so I had to move to my next contract - would recommend them to any potential job seekers
Pros
Friendly working environment, nice offices, good perks
Cons
Role was only a temp contract, but otherwise, nothing major, but its a very full on attitude to work, so be prepared to dig in and you'll be well rewarded

Worst job ever
Employee (Former Employee) - Crewe, Cheshire - 31 March 2023
READ THE REVIEWS! Honestly avoid like the plague 😳 The money is rubbish and if you don’t hit targets or cross sale management are so quick to pick out what you do wrong and be little you about it. Yes you get training but if you struggle management are straight in your case with any little wrong doing. Very boring job and the atmosphere is very cliquish it’s uncomfortable. Glad I’ve left now
Pros
None
Cons
Everything

No structure
Sales Executive (Former Employee) - Derry, County Londonderry - 28 February 2023
Everyone is outbound calling the same companies so most of your day is spent listening to rude or abusive calls! No structure in place as to who should be targeting what sectors of the market. Management don’t care how the sales are got so long as they are meeting target.

Awful company
Customer Service (Current Employee) - Crewe, Cheshire - 20 February 2023
The worst company to work for. Constantly looking for things you do wrong to single you out, very micromanaging. A couple of the MD’s are lovely, just a shame about the other managers and Human Resources director / department. Heard bad things before I joined. Should have listened. Actively looking for another job since starting.

Good for progression
Trainee Management Accountant (Current Employee) - Crewe - 1 June 2022
First impression of the company is that there is a lot of younger people and these young people have opportunities to progress through the company and be trained to whatever level they desire. The work culture is friendly. Initial pay is low but I am hoping this will improve in years to come and also in response to the cost of living crisis.

Peaks & Troughs
Business Development Manager (Current Employee) - Belfast, County Antrim - 5 April 2022
Great social aspect in the right department, very much a baby company with a big bank account. Lacking a few key processes to run as one well oiled machine and some people are stealing a living whilst others are grafting for half the amount.
Pros
Social aspect and colleague's Not overly pressured environment
Cons
Penny yet to drop but when it does this well be a well oiled machine.

Radius is a fast changing organisation with lots of opportunities to develop and progress my career. Fantastic office facilities in the best location in Belfast. There's an excellent vid around the office and everyone integrates well within each department. I highly recommend Radius as a great place to work.

Entry Level
Key Account Manager (Former Employee) - Crewe - 10 March 2022
Basic entry level environment. heavily based on the phone with high importance based on productivity, with this comes pressures to do monotonous work with little to no benefit to your goals. Get in, get the experience you need and look for something else.
