Busy work load not understood or appreciated by management . Constantly put down and never praised. I was told before accepting the job there would be progression opportunities but that is not the case, instead they give you more work with no pay increase or benefits

Awful place

Understaffed, management do not care about their staff, gossiping in offices about private matters concerning other colleges, older employees seem to belittle younger employees, can be very cliquey and zero support for mental health even though they dress up the hospital as ‘prioritising’ these issues. Simply because they have a couple MHFA who went on a one day course and are now “qualified” to deal with such issues. They will have a few external help resources to offer you, however as far as senior management go, they really could not give a monkeys and see giving you a piece of paper listing their external helplines as them ‘supporting you’. Their motto is ‘People caring for people’ but trust me, this does not extend to employees, only patients whom they rake in cash from.

Nothing but false promises

The revolving door of staff says it all. There is nothing but false promises, overworked staff and poor management. Very poorly managed, poor work-life balance as you are expected to always work late with no reciprocation. They promise extra pay for taking on leadership roles and regular pay reviews, but you won't see any of it. You get paid better for working in the NHS.AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Great environment - shocking pay

The staff and the hospital are lovely. Everyone agrees it’s a lovely to work but minimum wage for most means you aren’t fairly rewarded for your work. Every non clinical member of staff has interactions with patients, has to do things above their pay grade and worthy of more than minimum wage. High turnover of staff because people can’t afford to earn so little even if it is a nice place to work.

Having worked here for just over a year, Ive seen 3 Matrons start and finish, business manager disappear off the face of the planet and staff leave left right and centre. If you’re not related or best friends with certain individuals you’re ostracised by everyone. Senior leadership team are a joke as they’re all in each others pockets. When raising a concern to any manager it’s shrugged off and swept under the mat. Zero chance of career progression or further training as they refuse to accept apprenticeships (even though Ramsay offer them at all hospitals) or department transfers to upskill /remove yourself from nepotistic managers.

Low pay, Bad management, no care for staff

The pay is low for what is expected of us, the management haven't a clue the pressues staff are under and it all comes down to new directorship, for him it's all about figures looking good at head office not about how staff are treated, but as long as the figures are up he's doing his job!!! Once a great place to work....

Management were good but colleagues weren't helpful to a new starter. Some were basically bullys. It wasn't the job I thought it would be. It wasn't proper cleaning just a quick wipe here & there

I worked at the Yorkshire clinic for two years throughout Covid. I then went to university and got put onto bank staff role. The manager knew that I would not be able to work all the time she said I can go to university and come back and have any shift I want and it will be really flexible. I came home for the summer and requested some shifts to find out that I no longer had my bank stuff role and that my job had been advertised elsewhere without any notification. I got no email no letter, not even a single text to let me know that I have been sacked. The workplace environment can be really clicky. Some people are really nice and others will not even speak to you. Management was really poor and I could hardly ever get time off. We got really look down on by the nurses (over heard them talking about housekeeping negatively few times) and did not get much praise. The workload is a lot to squeeze in an evening shift of four hours, but they then complain that we are not cleaning to the “highest standards”. They really do expect too much of you and you are very overworked and always expected to do more. Overall, it served its purpose for short time period but I will never return, especially after the way I was sacked off after all my hard work.

This place is properly the worst place I worked. It’s a very clicky place and if your face don’t fit then you will surly know about itManagement useless . Money is rubbish and you have to park a mile away and walk. “Give it a miss’ the turn over of staff is awful!!!!!
