Fast Pace and friendly company
Marketing Manager (Current Employee) - amsterd - 13 July 2023
Reckitt is a fast paced company without good working-life balance. Its possible to build your career in the company but you need to work hard on expanding internal net-working. Salary average/below average - Good Bonus!

Okay place to work
QA Analyst (Current Employee) - Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire - 9 July 2023
As per department., work environment is quite toxic. Pay isn't great as well. The Research and Development arm seems a lot better place to work though.

R&D Asisstent
R & D Assistant, Air Care department (Former Employee) - Hull - 25 May 2023
Management were open and easy to reach, if other team members are off, your workload is adjusted accordingly and the work itself wasn't too challenging, just time consuming. The work place culture is clique, but people are usually friendly and fun to chat with, and open to help if not too busy.
Pros
Good work life balance
Cons
hours can be long and pay is low

Gone downhill
QC Analyst (Current Employee) - Kingston upon Hull - 25 April 2023
Due bad management decisions, it's gone downhill real quick in QC. Quite a toxic work environment lately. No care whatsoever about lower level employees and their well-being.

Jobs at Reckitt
Great place to work, good pay
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Kingston upon Hull - 8 April 2023
I was agency to begin with then was taken on but was a great place to work overall. The pay is good for the hours you do and you feel part of a team instead of just a number.

Generally a good place to work, with some caveats
GMA Advisor (Current Employee) - Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire - 18 March 2023
I have worked for Reckitt for a number of years and find it generally a good place to work. Having had other roles in the pharmaceutical industry, I find the work here more suited to me, and the people are more approachable. There is a certain level of flexibility that is appreciated. However, I do find the company very jargon-heavy, with a lot of business talk that seems a bit 'overkill' at times and a little impersonal. For many roles, there is no defined career path. There is a lot of talk about future careers and objective-setting, but actually moving up in the company seems to be limited to a select few, which has been a source of great frustration. I have found myself previously in the same role for several years, with more responsibilities given to me but this has not been reflected in my pay or job title. There is much talk of diversity and inclusion, and mental health, but these seem almost like 'tickbox' exercises and seem to lack authenticity. However, despite these grumbles, Reckitt is a good company to work for and I enjoy my role and the culture in general.

Overworked.
Team Member (Current Employee) - United Kingdom - 25 January 2023
Definitely a company that offers the world when hiring but doesn't appreciate its staff. The only thing that makes this company bearable is the money. But even still it's not enough. Reckitts used to be about the people.

Toxic work culture, unsupportive and dishonest management
Finance Executive (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 12 January 2023
Top level management won’t own up to anything or take timely decisions. The constant change in top management including the CEO and various heads of departments/functions proves that. Success is defined by how best you can blame other teams or your own teams and subordinates. Risk management is extremely poor with the new head of risk and assurance totally out of his depths. Overall, the typical career span is 1-2 years at best for most. AVOID!

Hard work
Supervisor (Current Employee) - Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire - 4 January 2023
Great place to work thanks to the shopfloor teams and the conpany has great values- most not followed in Hull. Exhausting and unrewarding at times . Expectation at certain levels is to work a minimum of 1 hour of unpaid overtime per day.

Good company but really bad environment/management at Derby site
Former Employee (Former Employee) - Derby - 23 December 2022
Great company values which are not adhered to at Derby site, unfortunately. But really good global career progression opportunities if you do as they say, so definitely not suitable for an individual who wants to be themselves. No work - life balance, expected to do extra hours without any compensation or acknowledgement. Very unprofessional HR!

Project Engineer
Project engineer (Former Employee) - Nottingham - 12 December 2022
Poor Management, Favouritism, Toxic Culture, staff talking behind each other's back, no mentoring or development for young professionals/graduates. Bringing in personnel without the means to train them due to existing staff being overworked with too many projects.
Cons
Poor management and career development

Alright place
QC Analyst (Current Employee) - Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire - 27 October 2022
management is terrible. Everyone is climbing up the corporate ladder, getting there by standing on those below. Work is terrific if you never let the office/lab politics bother you.

Pays well, poor moral
Manufacturing Technician (Current Employee) - Kingston upon Hull - 29 July 2022
Management and planning don’t communicate, management push production and volume and minimise maintenance. Poor at organising staff, low moral on site
