Picker/Packer in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire
on 27 November 2021
Can be busy but everyone works to help each other and everyone is easy to talk to.
The shifts are long and you're constantly on your feet but you get three breaks and although you are put into separate teams, people will often help the other teams if they need it. Everyone has been friendly with me and the supervisors are easy to talk to. I've only just started but I don't think the place is as bad as the stories I've heard.
Agency Warehouse Operative in Wakefield, West Yorkshire
on 18 December 2020
Had work when needed it, plus good hours, and most hours to suite my needs. Could talk to staff and not feel like a robot... minimum wage but always correct when pay day came around. Always text you same day about work the next day before 12pm and made sure that you was OK and looked after and apart of a work force..
Picker Biscuit in Edinburgh
on 14 October 2020
Worst Place Work I ever had in my life
Worst place I work ever, absolutely modern slavery, unqualified management, if you working as picker biscuit it's totally nightmares, you will standing 8 hours (30 minutes rush break) continuesly, poor English, I would highly recommended avoid working here unless you like to work like a slave.
Production Operative in Sighthill, City of Edinburgh
on 8 October 2020
Absolute shambles
The work itself was fast paced, always on your toes and shifts went by quickly as you were constantly busy. Management/supervisors were hopeless. They were hardly ever in their office if you wanted to speak to them and on the off chance they were, they were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Never replied to texts either. Basically forget about trying to communicate with them. Work was never guaranteed despite being dressed up as a full-time job in both description and at interview. They required you to text everyday to confirm you were available only for them to cancel your shift as little as two hours before starting. For a finish they never bothered texting me for shifts. Unpaid for two weeks work too. AVOID if possible no matter how desperate you get in your job hunt.
