Can be busy but everyone works to help each other and everyone is easy to talk to.

The shifts are long and you're constantly on your feet but you get three breaks and although you are put into separate teams, people will often help the other teams if they need it. Everyone has been friendly with me and the supervisors are easy to talk to. I've only just started but I don't think the place is as bad as the stories I've heard.

Pros

Cons

Good

Had work when needed it, plus good hours, and most hours to suite my needs. Could talk to staff and not feel like a robot... minimum wage but always correct when pay day came around. Always text you same day about work the next day before 12pm and made sure that you was OK and looked after and apart of a work force..

Worst Place Work I ever had in my life

Worst place I work ever, absolutely modern slavery, unqualified management, if you working as picker biscuit it's totally nightmares, you will standing 8 hours (30 minutes rush break) continuesly, poor English, I would highly recommended avoid working here unless you like to work like a slave.

Pros

Na

Cons

Slave, long hours

Absolute shambles

The work itself was fast paced, always on your toes and shifts went by quickly as you were constantly busy. Management/supervisors were hopeless. They were hardly ever in their office if you wanted to speak to them and on the off chance they were, they were extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. Never replied to texts either. Basically forget about trying to communicate with them. Work was never guaranteed despite being dressed up as a full-time job in both description and at interview. They required you to text everyday to confirm you were available only for them to cancel your shift as little as two hours before starting. For a finish they never bothered texting me for shifts. Unpaid for two weeks work too. AVOID if possible no matter how desperate you get in your job hunt.

Pros

I no longer work here

Cons

Communication with management/supervisors. No guarantee of shifts. Plus many more

Working at red rock

It’s a very relaxed atmosphere but very out of date systems and employees should be paid more. The opportunity for growth seems minimal, the parking is very small and there needs to be more training on daily tasks

Awful slave labour/concentration camp mentality

This is not a job it is abuse. Treated like dirt at all times. Absolutely no respect for their employees spoken to like your a slave. Ridiculously short breaks with no regard for stress or fatigue that you may be feeling. Most don't speak English. Do not consider working for these people !

Redrock are a horrendous agency. AVOID.

AVOID like the plague. Red rock is the worst agency you could ever work for they will only hire you for a month or two max and they will stop giving you shifts so they can keep bringing in new starters to rake in the profits. The WHOLE factory’s is full of foreigners and nobody speaks a single word of English. Not management or red rock. The worst agency and job you could ever have avoid avoid avoid

On-site coordinator

It was a very demanding and stressful job. I was asked to work 8 hours per day but be on-call every night, for 5 days per week. It was very hard to recruit employees as the agency could only offer zero hours contract and this caused additional stress. I was alone at the factory controlling attendance and cover of agency staff and the closest office was Peterborough which made it to be quite a lonely job. The salary package was acceptable but there was no progression for an onsite coordinator and the benefits were just the statutory. I was asked to do all HR processes: recruitment, selection, induction, daily attendance monitoring, payroll and wages enquiries. I have enjoyed the 11 months of employment but the busiest periods became too demanding and exhausting. Having a mobile phone 24 hours, 5 days per week did not allow me to "turn off" completely. I have a great appreciation for my manager and senior colleagues and they were very patient and helpful at all times.

Pros

Work 5 minutes from home, understanding customer, contact with employees

Cons

Constantly being on call, struggle with recruitment and not be able to complete objectives at busiest periods.

Complete, utter, exploitative, lying, bullies.

If you enjoy being ill treated then this is the job for you. These people are the worst employers you could imagine. No matter how desperate you may be to find work, please DO NOT apply for a job here. I was required to give at least one star rating in order to write this review.

Not an ideal work place

Not so good agency. No guaranteed hours. Not an ideal or friendly place to work. Shifts not guaranteed and very erratic. Most times i work 1/2 per week even though at interview i was told its full time. I get shifts cancelled like less than 2 hours before shift starts for 10pm. Communication among staff is difficult as most are non-english speakers so sometimes one can be misinterpreted for no just cause.

Pros

None at all

Cons

Not guaranteed shifts

Not guaranteed working hours

It' s free training for two days. Quick answer if you contact them. They give you free uniform. But you can stay without job because they don't guarantee the working hours.

Shocking

Advertise jobs as full time with rotating shifts then when you go to induction tell you is as and when they need you and you have to sit and wait for a text daily to see if your working the next day . Stay away
