Productive & enjoyable
I currently work as a cleaner in guilford and from day one meeting the area manager at my interview up until now (2.5 years later) I have nothing but gracious words to say about her and red support services as a whole. They are very supportive, always make sure us cleaners are ok , checking in on site weekly , very responsive via the phone or email. I do the same hours day in , day out Monday to Friday but if I need more I can ask for cover hours on another site so there is always extra money when I need it which is so beneficial especially at Christmas time.I have a good idea for cleaning so always wanted to stay with cleaning , I’ve worked for many cleaning company’s but this is by far the best, well managed company. Thanks for your continued support Red, all the best.

Fun but Professional
I have been working with this company now for nearly 2 years and they haven't been anything but helpful, supportive and professional. Support has been there when needed. Managers and Directors are very down to earth and also very supportive. Had 1 issue with my paying but was resolved very quickly. Can't fault this Company at all and very dedicated to clients and meeting standards of work.

Better than the bigger companies
This is a company I have worked for on three separate occasions now. From the managing directors, to the supervisors on the sites, everyone is generally approachable. The nice thing I’ve found, is the company is not so massive, that workers on the ground are forgotten about. Generally, the supervisors and managers on site, are well trained, so it means that area managers and HR are really responsive to any query or concern. To be fair, there are faults, with wages being a top concern. This appears to be more so the industry culture. This being said, reviews on appropriate wages are due for discussion. The only other thing, keep track of your hours. Yes, it has been an issue before, but, like I said earlier, the area managers are double responsive on getting issues like that resolved. And always keep your emails. It takes weeks of needless emails with larger companies, and always for you to prove your case. Not here. They support, just like their name says. My only other advise, have integrity and speak honestly and boldly. Managers here know when someone is pulling their chain, and they’re direct with what they say and mean. No point in attempting to mug anyone off. It is just proven better to be straight forward and honest. In turn, if you are honest and great with customer services and forever changing processes, there is no telling where you can go in this company. There are some real success stories.

Poor work life balance, unsociable hours
You’re undervalued, management are poor. Work life balance is often difficult as you are constantly changing from night shift to day shift with very short rest days.
