Great company to work with They all respecting each other All the units are clean and tidy and if there is any problem with unit the only thing you need to do just report that to garage and transport office then they’ll replace another truck HGV Class 1 Driver in Cupar, Fife

Wow, really just wow.
This is not a difficult job. Really is just running from Cupar to Cumberland to do trailer change overs. Occasionally going to RDC to do deliveries from down south, occasionally doing collections from around Scotland to be dropped off to go down south. Management are at the off the phone and really don't care very much about what's going on. Was told a few times I wasn't meant to be in. I worked 4 on 4 off, I can even count past 10 so I know when I'm meant to be in and given there is no one else here to drive the lorry who else is going to do it. Planning is pretty much up in the air. Seen two drivers arriving to pick up the same trailer. Crazy. Down side is how you are paid. There are some weeks you are only paid for 3 days work. (Paid Sun - Sat). If you on Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, then one goes into last week then three this week. Money isn't bad but when fully staffed there are no available loories for overtime. Not a difficult job if you can put up with the nonsense. HGV Class 1 Driver in Boroughbridge

Just a number to them
Planning have absolutely no idea, 3x15, 2x13, and still asking for you to do overtime, there are planners such as DF that literally has no clue about the industry and changes things at the drop of the hat but they actually think they are doing a good job which is the worrying thing, the planning is horrendous and leaves the traffic desk in the lurch all of the time to pass on the bad news they are not held accountable for their actions and should be.HGV Class 1 Driver in Newcastle upon Tyne
