Good Team
Senior Team Leader (Current Employee) - Chorley - 6 December 2022
The office I work in has a good team. The overall working atmosphere is good. The wages are a little low and the benefits are about the same as other places.

Insights into Reeds Rains
Areas for improvement
- Fair pay for job
- Energising work tasks
- Time and location flexibility
Average sales roles
Negotiator (Former Employee) - Northwich - 22 November 2022
The initial training is a very thorough, although it is all over webinar/zoom. Salary is average, commissions were very fair and uncapped, however targets felt unrealistic

Poor
Lettings Negotiator (Current Employee) - Northwick, Cheshire - 6 October 2022
All round poor, wouldn’t even recommend the service to family or friends. Management act like they are running a prison camp and treated like you’re in school

Flogging your guts for peanut
Lettings Co-ordinator (Former Employee) - Pontefract, West Yorkshire - 25 July 2022
Extremely stressful job if your on the lettings team, with high landlord fees & pressures to get new listings it's very unrealistic. Many staff would not even recommend Reeds Rains to their own friends & family as letting agents.

Don't Do It.
Mortgage & Protection Adviser (Current Employee) - Province Wide - 14 July 2022
Would not recommend anyone to entertain working for Reeds Rains Ltd, local management have no real interest in their fs workforce. Favouritism, resulting in detrimental impact to fellow colleagues, very much don't rock the boat mindset.

Each branch is different
Negotiator (Former Employee) - Derbyshire - 21 May 2022
Branch staff are great, but too many upper managers. Lots of targets, some worth doing, others were ridiculous... how many new followers you get on social media sites.... basic pay is minimum wage, the bonus structure is good and reflects how hard you work for it.

Fun staff, shocking pay
Senior Negotiator (Former Employee) - York, North Yorkshire - 25 April 2022
The staff were great in the branch I worked. So much fun and so helpful, all lean on eachother. The manager was also kind and helpful and supportive. Higher management are disgusting. Unhelpful, rude, put pressure on, never a thank you. The pay is unbelievable. Less than minimum wage and get away with it by putting the bonus you work hard for towards your salary so it boosts it up to minimum wage. You work hard for listings just to earn minimum wage. Does not reflect the increase of living costs. Such a shame as a fun job but can’t stay

Hard work but you can earn good money
Branch Manager (Former Employee) - Prestatyn, Flintshire - 31 December 2021
Career progression good but be prepared to work long hard hours but there is good money to be earned. I found it hard to have a work life balance but they did have great training.
Pros
Good money
Cons
Long hours - no work life balance

Jobs at Reeds Rains
Overworked and underpaid with a bad atmosphere
Negotiator (Former Employee) - Hillsborough - 1 December 2021
My time at this company was spent trying not to be drawn into the dramatic office politics perpetuated by the management. I was left to manage a letting department on negotiator wages (17k) after the other member of staff left. I was given no relief and expected to keep going alone. Awful company take this as your warning.
Pros
Paid just enough for putting food on the table
Cons
They do not care about you

Awful place to work
Valuer (Former Employee) - United Kingdom - 8 December 2020
If you want to be lied to, let down and spoken down to by your branch manager then take a job at Reeds Rains (LSL Properties). They will tell you that you will receive training before you are able to do your job but when you start working there you’ll find this isn’t true. It becomes a problem when a manager has been working there for a matter of months and three staff members have left. Always do your research before accepting a job offer.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Everything

I loved working here and was devastated when we were made redundant. Every day was different and Branch Manager helped so much. Career progression was excellent and rewards were good.

Very busy and demanding
Property administrator in renewals (Former Employee) - Cheadle, Cheshire - 6 February 2020
I had 370 properties that were rented. Dealing with landlords and clients making sure both parties were happy. There was a diary to wok everyday. Dealing with tenancy agreements making sure that they were activated. The administration centre is no longer there it closed down several years ago.
Pros
Free parking

appalling
Sales Negotiator (Former Employee) - Driffield, East Riding of Yorkshire - 27 January 2020
I was made redundant with one weeks notice. was told we had a training conference call and actually we were all sacked instead. they did not offer us any transfers as there was no where close enough - however there was, they also said there were no positions available in any close branches yet advertised new roles with two weeks of us leaving. very cruel and unfair. awful company to work for.

Leamington / Kenilworth branch
Sales (Former Employee) - Leamington / Kenilworth - 23 January 2020
This company is a disgrace.
The targets are ridiculous & unreachable.
I was promised so many things in my interview which never happened.
They refused to give me a contract for a month.
Extremely poor treatment of staff , ethics are horrendous. The managers only care about themselves.
Do NOT work for this branch.
