There are a great many ways to apply for a job vacancy with Rentokil Initial. We post vacancies on a host of job boards, such as Indeed, Reed, Facebook Jobs, Glassdoor, LinkedIn Jobs and many more. We also encourage referrals from our colleagues, so if you know someone on the inside, you should most definitely speak to that person about being referred. The key to making the first stage of interviews is to put plenty of effort into the CV you submit, making sure the information is clear and easy to read and displays the skills you have that are needed in our job vacancy. If you have made a strong application, you will be offered a telephone interview. We will want to know why this job is important to you, that you have done some background research into the company and why you would be a good fit into our family atmosphere. Without preparation, you are less likely to show us your qualities and therefore less likely to make it to the first stage of interviews.

Dependent on the position you are interviewing for, we largely run a two-stage face-to-face interview process with some form of shadowing or trial day so you can judge whether the position is right for you. If you are the best candidate for the position at the end of the process, we will offer you a date to start with us and welcome you into the Rentokil Initial family.

There are many roles that offer flexible working arrangements, but it depends on the work role you are in. For our customer-facing roles, your core responsibilities need to be carried out on site and cannot be completed from home. Office-based positions, particularly at the management level, can provide flexible working and the company for a number of years has been open to the option of working remotely. Some roles even require working remotely, because of travel across the UK.

At first stage interview it is important to look your best, so a Smart Dress approach is advised. If you are invited for a second interview you may need to wear safety equipment (safety shoes, HighVis vest for example), most of which we can provide for you. If safety equipment is required you will be advised of this by the recruitment team at interview stage.
