Jobs to important for life
Trade Plate Driver (Former Employee) - Sutton-In-Ashfield - 21 December 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedIf you want to work 55hrs a week plus, then fill ya boots, but be aware you could be stranded in the middle of nowhere, not at home. The company takes on too many jobs, and the planners don't have a clue about driving, so you end up with the old guilt trip approach and if that don't work you will be threatened with "so your refusing to work" even though you have probably already done 10 or 11 hrs.
Pros
Most of the drivers are a laugh, and you drive nice cars
Cons
Most of the job

Pros
always try hard to get you home at the end of the day if something goes wrong
Cons
contacting the office in emergenys no holiday pay

Don't walk, run
Car Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire - 11 May 2021
First of all, there are a few good people in the office but that does not extend to most of the management, with the exception of the person responsible for driver training, who runs a good training session. The pay with this company is better than a lot of other driver logistics companies, but still not enough for the job you are doing. The job itself would not be bad but for the pay and management pressure. Unfortunately, the simple fact is that you will not even clear minimum wage with this job, let alone what you need to live off in today's UK. They will promise you £350-£500 per week which sounds fine until you get to know what hours you need to work to clear even the bottom end of that bracket. The hours required to clear it are more than the maximum hours they warn you about in the contract. My pay worked out at £7.62 an hour and under the terms of working for them you have £500 compulsory excess in the liability insurance. Take the risk if you want. Management have no issue with you routinely doing 12-14 hour days 5 days a week, which gradually grinds you down. There is a reason why most jobs like this are 4 on, 4 off. Then when you take the inevitable day off or need sick leave, threats are made about wage deductions, which are not authorised in any document you will sign while working for them. Also with tiredness comes the increased risk to you and others on the road, as well as missing something on an inspection of a car that you could subsequently be liable for. Again, take the risk if you want.
Pros
Some nice cars, see new places, meet new people
Cons
Everything else

Excellent company
Car Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Anywere - 1 December 2020
Excellent company to work for. . Nice colleges in the main office. Do find sometimes the hours can be long due to long drives . But there's no quibble of getting paid for the work. Always helpful and happy to help if you have a issue that you can't deal with . !!
Pros
Great working environment ...great management 👏
Cons
Can be long hours

Extremely AWFUL
Driver (Former Employee) - National - 26 February 2020
Extremely awful company to work for. Rude office staff. They abandon you in the middle of no where with no support or help to get home. Left me stranded and a friend of mine had to pick me up. Refuse to pay properly and adhere to promises made in induction. Liars, money grabbing. The boss drives around in a jaguar f pace, so he’s the only one who makes any money from the work and long hours the drivers do. He’s rude, and aggressive. Iv never known anything quite like it. They still owe me money. I won’t see it. Legal action against them has started.

productive and relaxed place of work
Corporate Administrator (Current Employee) - Kirkby in Ashfield - 9 February 2017
Every day would be different, due to the different customer needs and problems on the roads. One day could be busy with booking jobs in with no problems the next day could be loads of issues with drivers on the road and another day could be both causing chaos so you need to have a cool head at times. Its laid back and fun place to work and great people from the staff to management. What I have learned well, how to talk to people in a professional manor, tele sales, how to handle stressful situations and how to manage peoples expectations.
Pros
Free fruit, drinks and tickets to football
