Bartender in Milton Keynes

The best place I have worked for.Aslong as you can work well under pressure and don't mind longer shifts revolution was an incredible place to work. The training they provide is like no other place I've worked for. its fun, interactive and they really spend a lot of time ensuring that you are the best you can be. Everyone is friendly and you'll find yourself getting on extremely well with staff. I can happily say it has been one of the best places I've worked for. Its so nice coming to work and not feeling like its a chore and feeling like you are important within a company. If your thinking of applying. you definitely should.

Horrific place to workJoined as a chef on a zero hour contract. Management staff were very friendly and welcoming at first. However, after starting the job, I was put in the deep end with no training given and expected to deliver under pressure alone. Got made redundant for no reason after two weeks. Management staff became rude and disrespectful. Job not worth the small wage and toxic environment. Keep away from this company - it’s values are not worth the paper they’re written in.

RubbishRubbish, management were rude and made you think you was working in the bar when in reality all you do is collect dirty glasses all night. They say you must do that for 3 months before being considered for the bartender job when in fact the role you apply for is ‘bartender’ not glass collector.

Understaffed, OverworkedWorking here is frustrating, you can see how it could be amazing but horrific shift times lead to a very damaging relationship between employee and job. Colleagues are amazing and there are opportunities to advance in the company, however, employees are expected to do hours you shouldn't ask of anyone, especially newer employees who may not be used to such a harsh work schedule. Also training is a shambles due to their wish to get everyone working as quickly as possible, two sessions and you are expected to be able to confidently work... it just can't work like that.

Very intense workplace, but it's entirely worth it for the culture and experienceI have very much enjoyed my time at Revolution Electric Press, I've had some incredibly challenging shifts, but overall it's been worth it for the friends I have made and the general community at Revolution. You have to learn a lot FAST, but generally as long as you're committed it's a good experience, management are very friendly, however a few managers here and there have been a bit less helpful. In general it's an experience I would recommend if you're able to deal with high stress, it has helped me grow a lot as a person and I am grateful to Revs.
