Nice place to work

Fast pace work culture, friendly workplace, lovely management and friendly coworkers, good salary and benefits, very difficult to get in and stay in, week and weekend hours, all holidays or almost open, work under pressure, meeting deadlines, punctuality, seminars, meetings, procedures, rules regulations, continuous leaning needed.

Pros

Nice brands

Cons

Stressful

Steer clear

Beautiful product however, management was terrible. All expats from Europe flown in to manage the local markets they have no knowledge of. Management on fantastic expat salaries whilst locally engaged employees are paid well below market rate. A really disappointing experience.

Horrible management

Management is hire. They do not care nor listen to their employees!! Management talks about their employees and treats them like they’re beneath them.

Craftsmanship, colleagues and some bad apples

Overall, a good global companyThe negatives:1. Number of poor people leaders -locally and globally who are there tarnishing the experiences of the teams which does not promote a positive environment for others, blocks development /growth, stressful team cultures2. Nepotism still exists in some functions / areas3. Lack investment & consistency in People (identification, development)4. Compensation not very competitive5. Lean teams, overworked environments6. Process heavy, multi layers for decision making and time consumingThe positives:1. Generally overall good colleagues all around - interesting, caring 2. Beautiful craftsmanship of products3. Good employee benefits 4. Global MNC 5. Mobility/transfers6. Making efforts on the DEI front

Some decent benefits offered; Not worth the headaches every day.

If you are looking to break into the luxury timepiece industry and score some possible training on company dime, this may be a good place to start. However, if you already have some training and/or certifications under your belt, you'd be better off looking elsewhere. The company has a very much top down, do it our way or else management structure. They make efforts to appear to care about employee feedback and concerns but 999 times out of 1000 they will either say that they don't make the decisions (which is odd) or they simply ignore the feedback entirely. If you are a watchmaker who actually enjoys the job, be prepared to be dictated to, not just regarding how the end product should look (to be expected) but also exactly how the get there even if the method dictated is not the best way to do the job. Of course, that is if you actually GET to do the full job in the first place.

Pros

Flexible start/end times, generous time off benefits

Cons

Little growth opportunity, management that does not actually listen/care, paint-by-numbers style watchmaking

Great company to work for but hard to grow

Love the benefits, best I’ve had of any other job.Love the environment, very safe workplace.Very secure place, security cameras and security staff everywhere.Only complaint was that it’s hard to grow in the company and unfortunately too much favoritism.

Pros

Paid holidays, great benefits and great work environment.

Cons

Hard chance of growth, too much favoritism.

Nice company but weak management

It is a nice company to work and for a long time it was a dream to get into it, however management is often doing micro - management and don't allow people to think out of the box.

Always striving to be better

Handled the pandemic and its employees very well. The international management is very in touch with US issues and provide balance based on that understanding.

Good company which really takes care of their employees' well-being

I really enjoyed working with Richemont, it's a family-like workplace, even though it's not easy to work there as you need to be a multi-tasker most of the time, but the good thing is all colleagues are friendly and helpful, team work is there.

Pros

Staff discount

Stay away!

Ugly HR Department. Careless on boarding. Cero training. I begged during days to have a working computer. Credentials for accessing the system never worked. Worst experience ever.

Pros

Nice building. Good salary.

Cons

Nobody has time for training new staff. Horrible on boarding and in existent coaching.

Environnement de travail agréable

Bonne ambiance et entente avec toute l'équipe, mais à cause du COVID19, la mission s'est terminée plus vite que prévue.
