Areas for improvement
- General feeling of work happiness
- Fair pay for job
- Ability to meet personal goals
Great place to work
Rise Technical is a great place to work because you are really valued no matter what your role is within the company.
They provide excellent training to get you where you want to grow within the company - whether that to be to progress to management or to become a principal consultant and eventually directorship.
They've got a really good company culture where likeminded people are happy to help and everyone feels part of a team.

Best choice I ever made!
Trainee Consultant (Current Employee) - Bristol City Centre, Bristol - 18 April 2020
As someone who has never worked in recruitment before I am so happy that I joined Rise. The support from everyone in my team and higher level management is really great and I feel so valued and part of the team.
Rise is a great company to work for and success is very well rewarded. It is great to work for a company where management standby you and support you as they want you to be the best.

Great place to work
Recruitment Consultant (Current Employee) - Bristol, UK - 8 April 2020
Only been at Rise for less than a year, but I have learnt so much already and have been really taken care of by everyone there.
There are many opportunities to build a career for the long term, especially as the company continues to expand.
They provide great training and development structures for their staff with regular meetings / reviews for everyone to have their own input. They also have a great commission structure to help boost your earning potential.
Unlike many businesses, the directors are very much involved with the company and all of its staff, constantly showing their face to encourage people and listen to any concerns they may have.
Although it is very much a tough working environment with long hours etc., there is very much a work hard play hard culture. Everyone gets stuck in at all levels of the business both in and out of work, encouraging one another and supporting each others goals. As long as you want to be there, others will want you to be there too.

Avoid
Wind farm technician (Former Employee) - Inverness, Highland - 25 January 2020
I was miss sold a job. Was told of the great advancing career path ways to find out in reality it wasn't the case. The company have no regard for the moral obligation they have to ensure the job is actually what their client says it is. Commission
Cons
Making terrible jobs seem better, No acceptance of mistake of fault, no moral obligation to seek out the reality of a job, mis selling of jobs

Applicant (Former Employee) - Uk - 24 January 2020
Rise are by far the worst agency going, bs about getting you the right role, they are only interested in making commission, no interest in the applicant

Find you the right placements.
Service Engineer (Current Employee) - Nationwide - 18 October 2019
Rise have placed me in a couple of contract positions and a permanent role over the last few years.
Always friendly, professional and don't promise you the earth just to get you in to their clients.
Excellent agency who I would recommend to anybody
Pros
Always truthful about the pros and cons of the job
Cons
Occasionally take a while to respond to communications

Fake adverts, acts like a scam; very rude on the phone.
Job applicant (Former Employee) - UK - 11 October 2019
Intruder agency. Only calls to discover your current work...basically just like a spy so be aware as this agency can damage your current job. Harry at the agency is very rude on the phone. He also lacks the intelligence and skills of basic communication.

Great company to work for providing you want to do something with your life. Best commission rates in the industry and progression all the way from Trainee level through to Directorship.
A fun, dynamic environment where no one takes themselves too seriously. Every individual is here to be the best they can be and this is celebrated by everyone else in the business.
All in all, a great company to work for which is lead by good, ambitious people who genuinely care about their staff.
Pros
Commission and Progression
Cons

A company that rewards exceptional results
Recruitment Manager (Current Employee) - Bristol City Centre, Bristol - 11 October 2018
The company is built on a culture of excellence and this is made apparent from day one.
The training is second to none and is supported by the achievement of "Investors in people Gold award."
The support and direction from the director team down through the management team and senior members of staff is refreshing and really makes every individual feel valued with a clear purpose.
Recruitment does have a stigma attached to the industry but the environment does not feel like a glorified, cutthroat call-centre - there is a real buzz to the environment generated by like-minded individuals that makes the job both challenging and enjoyable.
Pros
Excellent opportunities for career progression, Rewarded for your own efforts rather than relying on "who you know", Great earning potential, A buzzing, sociable environment with like-minded individuals
Cons
What's not to like about unlimited career progression, earning potential and rewards to support your achievements?

Great working environment, great earnings, great progression!!
Manager (Current Employee) - Bristol, Bristol - 10 October 2018
Great working environment, great earnings, great progression!!
Guidance and coaching to progress all the way from Trainee to a Director. Progression is based on your results, rather than length of service which is a breathe of fresh air within this industry.
A great company with a even better director team that will support you through thick and thin.
Pros
Earnings, Progression, Culture, Incentives
Cons
none that i can think off

Great place to build a career
Recruitment Manager (Current Employee) - Bristol City Centre, Bristol - 10 October 2018
The company offers a great platform to build a career.
If you are looking for somewhere where you can have a large earning potential and the opportunity to progress to senior positions it would be a great fit for you.
What you put in is what you get out, to be successful you do have to work hard, but that shouldn't be seen a bad thing. You will never regret putting in 100% and then reaping the rewards.
The directors open door policy is refreshing and they will always reward a great performance. They are often involved with the training of trainees and consultants and will always help you develop.
There is an open and honest atmosphere, it isn't a recruitment consultancy in the dark ages where you will feel the need to lock your computer when you go out for lunch out of fear of someone else stealing your leads and clients.
It is a meritocracy where if you perform you will progress and no one else will stand in your own way of making it from trainee to director apart from yourself. This is unlike other companies where you can only ever get promoted when someone else leaves, retires or if your face fits.
The company is expanding rapidly with sites in Australia, Dubai, America and Canada all being set up alongside the flagship Bristol City Center based office. With this there are plenty of opportunities for staff.
A large emphasis is placed on training and development. Rise rarely hire staff with prior recruitment or sales experience, however look for people with good core values who want to compete who can be guided and coached into being successful. -
Pros
Great commission scheme, meritocracy, chance to develop, progress and earn a lot of money.
Cons
The first 6 months are tough, as in any recruitment job. Be resilient, be positive, work hard and you will eventually reap the rewards.
