My interview had the whole group involved, there was no one to one interview.
We had a roleplay group interview presenting what good and bad customer service is using their clothing as props.
My interview was for the childrenswear section so was asked how different customer service would be there and who you'd 'serve' between parent and child, answer is both of them, the child makes an influence on the product bought and the parent usually pays for them.
They asked us 3 shops that we shop with. - obviously name drop RI
Explain a time where you were given good customer service in a store.
What brings customers into a store.. Good customer service and the display window definitely invites you in if you see something you like or think there'll be other alternative products for the season.
Just been for an interview and I got asked 4 main questions.

What do you already know about river island? - mention the 5 wow factors
Explain a situation where you went out of your way to help someone.
Explain a moment you had to follow through with a task.
Explain a moment which involves working in a team.
It was really simple and felt very relaxed :)
They asked us to recall a good or bad experience we’ve had before. that was the only question we were really asked, after that we had to perform a couple of practical tasks - for example, making an outfit for a famous person and asking us to sell an item
They make you put together an outfit of the river island brand for a celebrity of your choice and you have to explain why u choose what to the group.
They ask questions about fashion and whats the new trend.

It depends on who does your interview, my interview was a group interview and they just asked us to work in pairs and to get to know the person sitting next to you and present what you know about them to the group.
