The team made it fun. The day went quickly when you were on tills and helping customers. Some sections were more boring and have to be good at standing for hours. Could do 4 hour shifts so good if you’re at uni or have a family. Really high levels of absence so could be hard work especially on weekends. Good opportunities for overtime if you wanted it though A lot of weekend work and hours over Xmas holidays

Best job I’ve had!

I really love working at RI, the staff are so friendly. You do get the occasional difficult customer but that comes with the job sadly. Overall I’m proud to be apart of RI and hopefully there’s many years to come of my employment with them.

Unfriendly atmosphere

Management were quite rude and unfriendly. The job requires a lot of heavy lifting etc if you are working on deliveries. There was not sufficient time to complete deliveries, or sufficient training for the role. The staff discount is great however I wasn’t given access.

This company is probably one the best companies I have ever worked with as I realised after leaving. I had been very fortunate enough to have worked with the best teams and best mentors I could have asked for in my life. Sadly I had to leave as I felt disatisfied with what I was doing due to personal reasons. I was going through a lot of things and I couldn’t deal with the pressures of the job and how you get treated by costumers and because of that fact it just didn’t seem worth it for me to be working there. Managers there definitely deserve to be paid more to what they have to deal with daily.However, I don’t ever regret working here as it had taught me a lot throught out the years which had been very beneficial to me.

Not a nice environment

Everyone who works there is rude and think they are better than everybody else. They act stuck up and expect you to work all the time. All you do all day is stand around with nothing to do if you are a sales advisor. The managers tell you to tidy the floor and that’s all there is for you to do, if there is something out of place then it takes thirty seconds to put back. But if they see you stood with nothing to do they have a go at you as if it is your fault. If you do one little thing wrong, they are rude about it even if it’s not your fault.

Good place to work with good staff although the hours at christmas are difficult when you are expected to be in each day and finishing at 11/12pm and back in the next day at 7/8. Other than that good place to work and they do give great discount to staff and also uniform allowance which is always helpful.

Working here for almost 1 year now and they become your family great people job is fast paced and there is never a dull moment. Management are very helpful always coming and going with eveyone to suit everyone’s needs , basic minimum wage however tons of overtime which makes up for that

Supportive managers and really helped me develop as a person too. I would recommend. It was fun learning things from managers. But they didn’t give me a reference which was weird. So it was hard for me to work at my new job because of this.

Great employees, shocking management

Worked for 2 and a half years. All employees are lovely and incredibly hardworking, and the benefits of receiving uniform are decent too. However, I would not recommend working here due to the cliquey nature and overall poor quality of management. Non management will be expected to do a lot of the work that management can't be bothered doing. In short, they're shocking, subpar and in serious need of an overhaul.
