Supervisory Issues
Process Controller (Former Employee) - Patchway, Gloucestershire - 26 October 2020
The work itself was not difficult but there were ongoing personal disruptions wherein the person for whom I had been hired to support would leave after receipt of phone call from adult daughter. Daughter was co-dependent which was brought on by supervisor taking over daughter's life and that of granddaughter. There were instances where daughter OR granddaughter would send text messages some times with photos and other times simpy texts. This was an ongoing issue and frustrating because I would interrupt others for clarification to a question I had. Upper management was aware of interruptions but work was performed by supervisor after hours.
Pros
co-workers were great to work with
Cons
Ongoing personal interruptions

Material Controller (Former Employee) - Goodwood, West Sussex - 8 April 2020
Systematic and task driven roles, daily routine,
Massive Continuous improvement driven employer :)
Large department sizes, multiple managers within said department.
Work hard and you are rewarded.
Great product and company to work for, good salary, bonus' and benefits.
Wish I hadn't left, but at that point down to relocation.

Dull, repetitive and clicky
Nurtures their own, and don’t like outsiders joining. If someone with less than half your experience and knowledge has been there since an apprentice then they will be favoured for leadership positions. Very clicky, look out for one’s self/backstabby attitudes and most of the work is either full on or dull. Rarely ever do the job your title suggests you do.
Pros
Wages and benefits (keep you locked here.)
Cons
Unable to gain experience in your advertised field so unable to find jobs that pay similar, Jack of all trades seems to be preferred rather than experts, Ex apprentices are prioritised over external more well rounded hires.
