Reviews for Pharmacist at Rowlands Pharmacy
Lost their way
Pharmacist (Former Employee) - West Yorkshire - 20 September 2023
The organisation seemed to have lost their way. It used to be customer care driven but before I left it was more “customers will have to get used to..” mentality. Staffing cuts and more pressure but then, that’s all community pharmacies!

Salary is better than most
Pharmacist (Former Employee) - Manchester, Greater Manchester - 18 September 2023
Rowlands it was dependent on area managers which varied alot pay rises can be good if you fight hard for it. There were no bonuses at the time overall staffing is bad like any community pharmacy. What I didn't like was how your future is determined by dispensers where you worked the area manager team tend to listen to them despite you being genuine.

No chance for development
Pharmacist (Former Employee) - Birmingham, West Midlands - 29 June 2022
If your face fits you’re good to go. Otherwise don’t bother. Weird nepotism and certainly not diverse. Staffing levels are hard to deal with and there is aggressive cost cutting which isn’t good for morale.
