Clock in, sort mail for 2 deliveries, tie up mail place in bags, sort over sized parcels for both deliveries. Load van with bags and parcels. Take break, get any special deliveries from locker. Do van checks and then go out on 4-5 hour delivery, walking and driving. Return to office, sort and missorts and returned parcels, tidy sort frame. Clock out and go home.
Decent job, simple enough to do if you to walk 10 plus miles a day.
Micromanaged bombarded with emails and calls whilst trying to run an operation
Just a normal day
Brilliant
Start at 2pm finish at 8.30 but can finish as soon as you finish all your drops which I can have done for around 6.30pm if not earlier
Stress
Very busy,no time to stop for anything.
Saturday Friday
Come in, sort your parcels and put them in the van and put you go for the day, you’re never in the same area so it mixes it up nicely and once you’ve done your deliveries that’s it
Depressing, overworked and underpaid
