Royal Mail Employee Review

Nothing ever gets done by managers. It's always senior and junior

This is a worst experience of my entire career. It seems like you are in a primary school with bunch of pupils and your manager is your headteacher and union rep class teacher. Seniors gets away with everything and juniors always made to bend down. Although you are classed as same grade it's always down to how long you have been working for them. Starting from holidays to rest days it's always seniors AKA drivers gets priority. Pressure if work to finish within 5 hours for part timers which is impossible. You ask anything to get done by managers, will be least 3/4 weeks and that's after at least 50 reminders. Never appreciated for job well done. And they talk about career opportunities? It's only matters if you know someone on upper levels. Only good thing is the timing of the job ATM. You will be slapped with big packets by drivers to deliver and when you go to managers they will say its light. But the size of the packet doesn't matter to them. Drivers finishes at 10.30 instead of contracted hours till 2 yet moan everyday they are late.

Pros

Timing

Cons

Not enough space to write down so imagine how many of them
